My first encounter with Jeremiah’s oratorical prowess came unexpectedly during a doctoral class I was teaching in 2019. I asked students to introduce themselves and share their research. Jeremiah was my student at the time. He stood tall with a voice both serene and compelling, beginning to weave his story—a tapestry so rich and engaging that the room was left in awe. His ability to marry personal narrative with academic inquiry left some of us in tears, while others, already familiar with his gift, nodded in a blend of reverence and delight.
